No, I am not making recommendations to buy GOLD, but I am going to share a link for a video where Jack Bogle from Vanguard founder fame, explains the history, simplicity and efficiency of index managed money funds.

Even with the uncertainty in the world today, this investment strategy has held tough and I think Jack Bogle explains it pretty well and his stories and perspective is hard to argue with.

The financial services industry is well known for creating complexity from simplicity. Complexity equals higher costs and this generally means that the asset manager / financial planner could earn more than you. Financial advice should be an integral relationship with your family but you need to access trusted, independent advice.
